As part of the second annual Lesbians Who Tech hackathon, I joined a team to design and build an app to support an organization called 27%, which was being formed to solicit donations for the 27% of children living below the poverty line in California.
The central concept was to create a mechanism to connect approved caregiving organizations in need of funds (after-school programs, summer camps, preschools, etc.) with donors looking to improve the day-to-day lives of the children receiving care in the programs.
The scope of work I provided was visualization of the product based on the creator’s original idea, preliminary branding, layout, and user walkthroughs for both donors and caregivers.
In one day, we created a functional prototype for the donor side of the app. Below are the user flows.
